BufferprintJon Gomm really gets going around the 1:18 mark in this video, so don’t stop before that. He sings, plays, guitar, tunes his guitar and plays drums on his guitar all at the same time. A tremendously talented individual just said NO to Britain’s Got Talent when they called.
Google has come up with another great doodle with a playable guitar on its home page. A great Les Paul guitar tribute. You can even record what you play and the doodle will give you a link to your recording. How cool is that? The les paul guitar doodle has received a permanent home because it was so dang popular. From PC World: The virtual guitar lets you strum three major chords: G-major (G/B plus G/B an octave higher), C-Major … Continue reading
I found this interesting post on an economics blog that points out the flaws when getting angry at ticket scalpers or brokers. It makes a lot of sense but the solution of adding new shows isn’t always practical. It won’t ever be practical for say the World Series or the Super Bowl. Another cool video made on the cheap from Hollerado. The band says “This is the “Human 8-bit Video”. We wanted to make something cheap and awesome. It was directed by our buddy/chief mad scientist Greg Jardin. It was all shot in one take. It took lots and lots and lots of practice to get it right. A guy in one of the cells also played the serial killer on season 5 of “the wire”.” http://www.hollerado.com http://www.facebook.com/hollerado http://www.myspace.com/hollerado http://www.twitter.com/hollerado
Hey Bieber fans! Your favorite little stud might be hosting an all new punk’d on MTV. I mean he was an obvious choice for this job. The only problem now seems to be that so many people know that he could be the new host that MTV is scared he won’t be able to punk anyone because they’ll see it a mile away. That is if they don’t see the wonderful hair don’t first.
Word is that the take you see here is number 73 out of over 100 takes over 2 days. I believe that the shoot involved 12 dogs each of whom had a trainer. That makes for a crowded set. And they made it work famously.
