Umm, don’t text in theaters. It isn’t nice.

BufferprintHere’s a great little vid from a theater called the Alamo Drafthouse that has a special dislike for those who ruin the movie going experience for others. People like this girl are the reason why so many do not want to spend $10 plus to hear people talking, eating and creating other distractions during a film.

Amazon Prime? Costs more or the same?

So I have a prime membership at amazon. I get it because I am a student but it doesn’t include the video on demand service. I’m not complaining though because if I order something I get it FAST. One problem though…I decided to check the price of an item I was interested in and then I logged into my account and lo and behold the item was MORE. Now, this isn’t for every item, but it was easy to find … Continue reading

A Dear Jane Letter to Starbucks: It was good while it lasted.

Dear Starbucks, I think that it is time that we see other people. Unfortunately, I am not in love with you anymore. This love affair is too one sided. It all started not too long ago when you decided that you needed more from me for my Venti no whip mocha and took away my favorite pastry, the bear claw. I took it in stride because people change in relationships and I am capable of compromise. I asked politely for … Continue reading

The Future is Available Now in the House of Representatives Store

What year is it? Seriously? Does anyone use these things anymore and why are they in stock at all?

Howard Stern’s New Deal Ensures I Won’t Hear Him for 5 More Years

The really sad part is that I don’t have satellite radio anymore and I won’t get to listen to one minute. You see, I left XM radio before the merger with Sirius. It just wasn’t worth it anymore. There were some great stations and I was able to listen to things I couldn’t elsewhere. Opie and Anthony was one of the things … Continue reading

Michelle Obama – Most powerful woman in the world?

Forbes magazine says it so it must be true. Right? Yeah, right. Mrs. Obama beat out Oprah, Kraft Foods Chief Executive Irene Rosenfeld and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Forbes said Obama topped the list this year because: She has made the office of first lady her own” while remaining popular. Wha? Huh? Pass that by me again. I have heard a decent amount about her trying to stop child obesity, but this certainly takes the cake. Certainly this qualifies her. … Continue reading

Delta says NO to jacket that helps you avoid baggage fees

It appears that Delta Sky magazine has turned down Scottevest when they offered to purchase a full page ad to tell people about their jacket that has so many pockets you’ll be able to avoid extra baggage fees. Watch the video below. I do think that this strikes a little too close to home for Delta. Airlines have brought this kind of counter behavior on themselves. I know it costs money to fly, but $35 a bag? Really? Southwest manages … Continue reading
